Dr. Vijay Garach

Dentist

Dr. Vijay Garach graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand, South Africa with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Degree. Vijay worked as a general dentist in South Africa for 2 years before moving to Canada. He received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto, and has maintained his dental practice in Hamilton since that time.

Vijay’s passion for dentistry has inspired him to pursue an impressive array of continuing education over the years. Vijay began his career with the highest honour, receiving the medal of the Dental Association of South Africa. Since then, he has earned the prestigious Fellowship award from the Academy of General Dentistry in recognition of his commitment to continuing education and dental excellence. Vijay was awarded a Certificate from the Center for Advanced Dental Studies in St. Petersberg, Florida.

Throughout his career, Vijay has remained an active member of the Hamilton Academy of Dentistry, as well as the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Outside of his dental career, Vijay enjoys photography, yoga and spending time with his family and 4 grandchildren.

Kirthi Garach

Office Manager

Kirthi Garach is our Office Manager. She’s been with our team since January 1974 and in the field of dentistry for 47 years.

Kirthi enjoys meeting people and working with the rest of the team to meet patient goals. She feels she helps patients best by understanding and helping them to achieve their dental needs.

When not at work, Kirthi loves cooking, reading, doing yoga, listening to music, and spending time with her 4 grandchildren.

Dulce

Dental Assistant

Dulce has been working at the office since 2001 and has over 19 years of experience in the dental field.

Dulce feels like she can help patients best when they’re nervous, uneasy, or scared in the chair. She gives them moral support and a lot of TLC to make them comfortable.

Even though Dulce has been working in dentistry for many years she still has a passion for it and loves that she’s still learning new and amazing things. For her, the best part of her work is that every day is a learning experience.

When Dulce is not working she loves to hang out with her girlfriends, share recipes and cook or bake together. In her younger years she loved to play volleyball, table tennis and dodgeball but now to keep active she does Zumba and lots of walking.

Himika

Receptionist /Dental Assistant

Himika is our Dental Receptionist and Assistant. Himika joined our team in July 2020, but she’s been in the dental field for 5 years.Himika feels she helps patients best when she gets to serve their dental care needs. When not in the office, Himika enjoys trekking, doing yoga, and spending time with her family and friends. Meet Himika and the rest of our team on your next visit to Garach Dentistry!

Aanal

Dental Receptionist

Aanal was born and raised in India

She joined Garach Dentistry in October 2021 as a dental receptionist and loves being part of such a great team. She enjoys getting to know patients and wants to make them feel as comfortable as possible. In her free time she enjoys camping, traveling, and learning how to create new dishes.

Elizabeta

Dental Assistant/Receptionist

Elizabeta joined the Garach team in August 2022 as a dental assistant and receptionist. She loves spending time with her family, cooking, reading, and traveling. Elizabeta feels that she can help patients best when she provides them with compassion and quality service. She strives to embody these qualities in her daily work.
